- Most above ground pools are equipped with a ledge or railing around the top edge of the pool averaging from four to twelve inches wide. For the IAABGR Staypoollizer to be effective and maintenance free the ledge must be a minimum of four (4") inches wide to provide proper stabilization of the unit. It is also important the mounting location be flat and horizontal to the water surface. Indentations, recessed runners and ribs on the mounting surface are acceptable as long as the IAABGR Staypoollizer can remain reasonably level. Ledges with an incline shape for water dranage or other ledge designs may not be compatible with the AIABGR Staypoollizer.
